My name is Maria Fotiadi, and I am an archaeologist and a certified tour guide. From a young age, I was captivated by stories of the past—like fairytales coming to life. As I grew older and pursued studies in history and archaeology, this fascination deepened. I have always been moved by learning about the lives of people who lived centuries before us, in worlds that may no longer exist, yet have left lasting traces behind.
Through my travels, I developed a deep appreciation for topography, the unique character of each place, and the ever-changing landscapes of our small yet diverse country. When I completed my training as a tour guide, I felt I had finally found the missing piece: the ability to share all these stories with others.
My goal is to convey the true essence of each place—the monuments, the hidden stories, the traditions, and the way of life—through an authentic and immersive experience. I want you not only to learn about history, but to feel the living spirit of the land, to taste local flavors, and to explore landscapes untouched by time.
I am active in the beautiful regions of Epirus and Western Macedonia. Raised in the countryside, close to nature, I will guide you on a journey that is genuine, rich in images, memories, and experiences that stay with you.
Join me on this journey.
